One of the most important events in the world of illustration, the Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, has reached its fiftieth edition. So much has changed in these 50 years but the wish to create a space where new illustration work of quality can emerge has remained unchanged. The Illustrators Annual 2016 brings together the work of 76 artists selected from among the 16,000 illustrations by 3,200 illustrators from around the world.
